Individual State Standards

Standards are objectives that are grouped together based on instructional content.

School across the country are gradually introducing the Common Core Standards, but teachers in many schools are still held accountable for standards set by their particular state. You will often find that the standards are very similar. Your state may already have a comparison of the two, which is helpful. Most teachers who have been using their state standards for some time are well-versed in what is expected for each standard and can easily see the similarities between the two groups of standards.

Compass Learning offers state standards (in Test Builder) only for Math and Language Arts in the K-8 curriculum.
