Report Templates

The My Templates page section of Reports Manager is where the report templates you have created are stored. (You can also choose to view all of your templates at once by clicking All My Reports.)


Creating a template is very similar to creating a new report. To create a template:

  1. From the main menu, select Reports. The Reports Manager page opens.
  2. From the left navigation panel, under Reports, click the category for the report you want to use to create your template. When you locate the proper report, click the Settings link that appears in the row for that report.

  1. The Settings window for the report opens.Specify the settings for the report the way you want them to be set in your template. Click through each tab in the window--Details, Curricula, Assignments, Students, Schedule & Send--to specify settings.
  2. After you have finished adjusting the settings, you arrive at the Run tab. Specify whether you want to run the report immediately or to add the report to your Reporting Queue and run it at a later time.
  3. At the bottom of the Run tab, click Save. If you haven't given your template a name during configuration, click Save As to specify a name for the template. Click Cancel to cancel your changes.
  4. After you save your template, a message in the lower left corner of the window confirms that your template was saved.

This template can now be accessed through My Templates.
