How do I choose and provide TEKS based assignments to students?

Manually Assigning Single TEKS Assignments

Using students 2016 STAAR data, teachers can assign single TEKS assessments with learning paths. We recommend assigning several at a time because students can progress through these assignments quickly.

Each assessment will contain 4-8 questions. Mastery is 70%. Students scoring less than 70% will be assigned a learning path.

  1. Navigate to the Courses and Assignments tab
  2. Choose Assignment Archive
  3. Change Availability to “My District”, select    “Language Arts” as the subject, and choose a grade level.
  4. Click on Search
  5. Scroll to find the TEKS you need to assign.
  6. Check the boxes next to the desired assignments.
  7. Click the Assign to Students button
  8. Choose the students to assign
  9. Click Finish
