Adding Students to a Class

Adding a New Student to a Class

  1. From the dashboard, click My Students.
  2. From the left navigation panel, under My Classes, click the class to which you'd like to add a student.
  3. From the New... menu, select Student.
  4. The Student Profile window will open, with the Personal Information tab displayed. In this tab you may enter information and check appropriate attributes for the student. Remember that a User Name, Password, and Grade are required. Also, First Name and Last Name are strongly recommended for reporting. When finished, click the Subjects tab.
  5. In the Subject tab, review the default access available to the student, and make changes as desired.
  6. When finished, click Save.

The Student will now appear in that class.

Adding an Existing Student to a Class

  1. From the dashboard, click My Students.
  2. Using the search features located within the left navigation panel, locate the student you'd like to add to a class.
  3. Click the check box that appears beside that student's name.
  4. From the Actions menu, select Add to Class. This opens the Add Students to Class window.
  5. Select the class to which you'd like to add the student. You can use the filter feature to narrow your search, or click Create New if you need to create a new class.
  6. Click Add.

The student has now been added to the class.
