No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. The CompassLearning® Project Summer 2016 Contest is sponsored by CompassLearning, Inc. (“CompassLearning®”). Open to students with a registered account at a school affiliated with the Texas Student Success Initiative and utilizing CompassLearning Pathblazer®.

Contest Dates

Project Summer 2016 will run from Friday June 3 – Thursday August 11 (10 weeks).

To Enter

Students with Pathblazer login credentials at a school affiliated with the Texas Student Success Initiative and utilizing CompassLearning® Pathblazer® are automatically signed-up for Project Summer 2016.

CompassLearning® reserves the right to verify the account status of any student. Failure by CompassLearning® to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

How to Win

Weekly drawings

Each time that a student completes 5 or more activities in a week (measured Friday through Thursday) during the contest dates, he or she will be entered into the weekly CompassLearning® Swag Drawing.

3 winners will be drawn each week. Winners will be chosen at random among all students who completed 5 or more activities that week.

The drawing will occur every Friday for the previous week beginning June 10. Prizes will be delivered to students’ school campuses, and will be available for pick-up when school resumes in August.

Grand Prizes

On Friday, August 12th, students with the 5 highest total number of activities completed will be eligible for the Grand Prizes.

The 5 top performing students will win an iPad®.  In the event of a tie, all eligible students will be entered into drawing where 5 will be drawn at random.

CompassLearning® is not responsible for technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, lost, late, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Contest which may limit the ability to participate or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the activities in this Contest.

Teacher Prizes

Teachers with 10 or more total students completing activities during the contest dates in Project Summer 2016 will be entered into a prize drawing for August 12, 2016. 3 winning teachers will be selected from those entries at random to win a teacher Swag bag.

The winning teachers will be contacted through their school upon return in August.

Weekly winners will be posted on the CompassLearning® Texas Student Success Initiative page.

Weekly prize winners will receive a CompassLearning® Swag bag with an estimated value of $15. Each bag will include:

  • CompassLearning® String Bag
  • CompassLearning® Frisbee
  • CompassLearning® lanyard
  • $10 gift card to Amazon

5 Grand Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of Project Summer 2016. Each Grand Prize will be an iPad® with an estimated value of $200.

3 Teacher Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of Project Summer 2016. Each Teacher Prize will be a Swag bag with an estimated value of $86. Each bag will include the following:

  • CompassLearning® tote
  • CompassLearning® tumbler
  • CompassLearning® journal
  • CompassLearning® squishy brain
  • CompassLearning® lanyard
  • 100 CompassLearning® pencils
  • $50 gift card to Barnes and Noble/Amazon
